NetOne has extended operating times, with the country's second-biggest mobile phone operator's shops staying open for longer on Saturday, and opening for business on Sundays. On Saturday, the telecoms firm will now be operating from 8am to 4pm, while on Sunday, operating hours will extend from 11am to 4pm.

Previously, Saturdays were open from 8am to 1pm and closed on Sundays except its airport shops.
NetOne said the move was meant to afford extra convenience to customers.

"NetOne is changing and our changes encompass providing world class services as well as adding convenience to our customers.

"Our shops have extended operating times on Saturdays and we are also opening on Sundays. We are doing this as an added convenience to our customers," said NetOne.
The new operating times became effective at the weekend.
