Mutare based artist has released a collaborative track which he hopes will stamp a place for him in hip hop circles.

Beverly Nyakuengama best well known by his stage name Yung Talieban's new meal is entitled "Shumba" which he collaborated with Bruce Chikukwa, popularly known as G. Bee, and the song encourages audience to be bold and never abdicate in life.

In an interview with this writer Nyakuengama said, "Shumba is a catchy party song which is derived from the kids game and artistically the song reminds people that they should have a heart like a lion which always stand strong and firm."

Shumba hit the market in mid-June and is already receiving airplay on Diamond FM and he hopes it will be aired on other stations nationwide soon.

"My new track is a motivational party song which is blended with some house Afro pop fusion instrumental," said Nyakuengama.

The 21 year old artist, who started his career in 2015, said he is inspired locally by Winky D and internationally by Busy Signal.

Shumba was produced by DJ Touch of Wasu Records in the eastern border city.

In the past Yung Talieban has collaborated with Flexxo, who was a nominee at the recently held Zimbabwe hip hop awards, on a song titled Muriwo.
