Elections divide Mujuru's party

This weekend has been one of the busiest weekends in Byo for NPP members with various groups involved in various activities. The group rallying behind Cuthbert Ncube a business tycoon born in Midlands Gokwe and based in South Africa held their mini Rally at Khumalo Hockey Ground.

Also present was retired Brigadier Kasu who will be battling it out for VP with a long time seasoned politician Ambassador Mvundura, Mbaiwa who will be squaring it up with young vibrant dynamic 36 year old Bukhosi Ntuta for Treasurer General while the the South African based business tycoon Cuthbert Ncube battles it out with an oil charged seasoned veteran of the liberation struggle and former Minister Dr Samuel Siphepha Nkomo.

At a high high powered closed door meeting organised by a team known as Winning Team Dr SS Nkomo which was held in the city, things were different from what was happening at the Hockey Ground.

This was a well attended serious business meeting attended by strategic thinkers with more than half of the main PEC members including its Byo PC Pastor Esnat Bulayani.

Representatives of Mat North. Dr Musaka from Binga delivered a message stating that Mat. North as a Province have anonymously endorsed Dr SS Nkomo for VP and Bukhosi Ntuta for TG.

He said not that Mat. North doesnt have capable people for the positions, but they considered the Regions interest first and felt that Dr Nkomo is the best candidate to fit in well in that position without the need to understudy or do some in-house training which will be required by other candidates such as Cuthbert Ncube who he himself declared that he has not been in active politics until end of last year when he joined the party the Zim PF by then.

It doesn't make sense to see people who cried for freedom as victims of a lengthy imprisonment in the form of marginalisation decides to trade a Treasurer General post meant for Matabeleland to a Mashonaland Harare based business man at the expense of their own Bulawayo based son born in Tsholotsho Bukhosi Ntuta? Hard hitting Dr Geneva Sibanda charged.

He questioned the wisdom of the Cuthbert Ncube led team which claim to be having a passion of Matabeleland Region, yet when presented with the opportunity to push forward your own person from this Region for TG, you push for some selfish agendas which are contrary to your beliefs, in the eyes of a normal reasoning person it doesn't add up.

He said we are prepared to eat our Sitshwala with tshomoliya vegetable than to be seen scrambling for meat and alchol at Khumalo Hockey ground with Cuthbert Ncube team.

Lively wire youthful Josphat Mzaca Ngulube never minced his words when he said, the VP shouldn't go to people who will give us headaches to introduce to people, the man Cuthbert is only known in Gokwe Midlands his birth place by a different surname from the one he inherited to fit the terrain whereas Siphepha Nkomo is a brand traced from ko Siphepha Tsholotsho the same lineage of the late VP John Nkomo. He Dr Siphepha Nkomo is a National figure who makes the Nation salivate for his leadership.

Dr Samuel Siphepha Nkomo was not in the meeting as he was out of Bulawayo. Speaker by speaker felt betrayed by people who lacked political insight. Donate your money to projects which will help people in these harsh conditions, than spoiling them with calabash and brai meat. It pains us to see our own children being abused by these rich business people using money as a bate for political positions said Mrs Simangele Nleya.

Zimbabwe is at a critical stage and we need to drum up leadership of integrity which will be able to bring ZANU to its knees. We need to blend our leadership with the old and young. This is not the time for learning what needs done, but a period of hands on the job. We have no time to teach people how to negotiate a bend, how to advocate, how to add and subtract, we need people who have all that in their finger t-ps and here we are to serve.

Dr Nkomo and I Bukhosi Ncube are there to do the job for you. We are ready as your messengers said the energetic Bukhosi Ntuta the Treasurer General candidate.

We will enlighten the Nation, the power of light is greater than darkness. Dr Siphepha Nkomo is the name sung in the streets of Bulawayo, business circles, community out reach, communal areas and all corners of Zimbabwe. He saved Bulawayo from total collapse by commissioning the Mtshabezi Dam- Bulawayo pipe line.

The Winning Team Dr SS Nkomo emphasised the need for people to remain united. It's just an internal election which will never divide us as a Province as a Region and as a party.
