(I want to concentrate on football, I am tired of being written about in a negative aspect by the papers)".
Mutumu went through his first training session on Tuesday with Highlanders.
Highlanders head coach Erol Akbay is said to be keen to have Mutuma as he had identified his forward line as the main area that needed to be strengthen for the upcoming season.
Akbay expressed satisfaction with the lanky Mutuma after a two-hour training session at Barbourfields Stadium, with the Dutchman boldly declaring, "keep this guy, he fits into our high tempo football", the state controlled Chronicle reported Wednesday.
