CAPS United has done the unthinkable by announcing  a hike in gate charges for its Sunday key CAF Champions League first round second leg match clash against TP Mazembe at the National Sports Stadium.

According to Zimbabwe champions, the cheapest ticket will cost $5 up from the usual $3, VIP $20 and VVIP $50 .

"We would like to advise the nation and our beloved fans as well as our valued stakeholders that the CAF Champions League tournament is involving substantial amounts of costs which are far beyond the clubs reach and capability," said the club in a circular Wednesday.

Caps United held TP Mazembe to a one all draw last week.

The gate charges might result in few fans attending the match.
