Dynamos have set the stage for Sunday's blockbuster Castle Lager Premiership battle against bitter rivals Highlanders at Rufaro Stadium by hiking gate charges.

The cheapest ticket will cost $5 for rest of the ground entry up from the usual $3 while to sit in the VIP stand fans will have to pay $10 with those who wish to watch in the comfort of the VVIP will part ways with $20.

And judging by the Glamour Boys' recent form, Sunday's match is likely to attract a bumper crowd at their favourite hunting ground.

DeMbare club secretary general Graham Mafoko urged their fans to rally behind the team.

"Generally, costs of hosting these high profile matches are slightly higher so we have increased our charges so that we are not left counting losses," Mafoko told the Daily News adding that: "POS and EcoCash facilities will be available at all the entry points.

"Gates will open at 12pm and we are going to open a total of 20 gates. We have wanted to have all the 28 gates opened but others are not functional.

"We are urging fans to come in their numbers and also to come early especially those that wish to swipe or use EcoCash to avoid long queues."

Mafoko added that a lucky fan drawn through random selection will also be afforded an opportunity to present the team's Player of the Month award at halftime.

The Dynamos Player of the Month will walk-away with $200 and a floating trophy.

Dynamos are moving with a spring in their step having picked six straight wins on the spin to sit second on the log table with 48 points from 22 matches, two behind log-leaders Chicken Inn, who have played two matches more.

Lloyd Mutasa's charges are coming from a morale-boosting 2-0 victory over city neighbours CAPS United last weekend during the Harare derby at the National Sports Stadium.

Red-hot Cameroonian forward Christian Ntouba netted a brace in the victory to take his season's tally to 10 goals.

DeMbare have an outstanding match against Chapungu which was stopped following the collapse of a goalpost in the second half with the Harare giants leading 0-4.

The Harare giants are poised to get maximum points after the Premier Soccer League ordered the match to resume from the  56th   minute when it was stopped with scores at 0-4.

Their other game in hand is another derby against CAPS United after their first scheduled game was postponed in May following the unavailability of National Sports Stadium which was booked by Pastor Chris while Rufaro Stadium was undergoing renovations.

The last meeting between Dynamos and Highlanders at Barbourfields Stadium only lasted 42 minutes before the match was abandoned due to crowd trouble with the scoreline at 1-1. The PSL disciplinary tribunal went on to award the match to the Glamour Boys on a 0-3 scoreline and ordered Bosso to pay a $4 000 fine.

And since then a lot has happened especially for the Bulawayo giants, who are currently going through a lean spell.

Highlanders have failed to win their last five matches, drawing once and losing the other four - triggering a massive crisis at the club with head coach Erol Akbay blaming everyone at the club except himself for the team's dip in form.
