Zimbabwe kicked off their Cosafa Women's Championship campaign with a 1-0 win over Namibia in Port Elizabeth on Thursday.

Marjory Nyaumwe scored the winner for the 2017 runners up to register three points in their opening Group C tie.

Zimbabwe sit second on goals scored in their group after Uganda beat Swaziland 4-3 in the other group match.

The Mighty Warriors' next assignment is against eSwatini on Friday before taking on Uganda on Monday.
