The Welshman Ncube led MDC has dismissed its Deputy National Spokesperson Mbuso Siso from his position.

Party Secretary-General Miriam Mushayi revealed in a statement without giving any reasons that the party had recalled Mbuso Siso the Deputy Spokesperson and replaced him with Bulawayo Province Spokesperson Oscar Ncube with immediate effect.

"Please be advised that the Standing Committee has appointed Oscar Ncube as the Deputy Secretary for Information and Publicity with immediate effect," said Mushayi in a brief statement.

Party sources indicated to Bulawayo24 that Siso was dismissed after he had protested the in the inclusion of Welshman Ncube's son as a council candidate for Ward 2 in Bulawayo.
Efforts to get a comment from Siso were fruitless as he declined to comment on the matter.
