TODAY'S WORD

1John 3:16 By this we know love, because He laid down His live for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

In the example of Christ our Lord and saviour, Christians ought to show love, love that means sacrifice, love that means letting down our interest for the good of others.

Vs 16 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

The completeness of Christian character is attained when the impulse to help and bless others springs constantly from within. It is the atmosphere of this love surrounding the soul of the believer that makes him a savor of life unto life and enables God to bless his work.

Vs 17 But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

We have many brethren who needs our Help. We ought to help. You ought to help or rather donate to us and help a soul.
